What services does Kate’s Classroom Co offer?

Kate’s Classroom provides individualized 1:1 tutoring in-home, at local libraries, or via Zoom. We also offer homework support and annual homeschool portfolio check-offs with guidance for continued learning.

What grades/ages do you work with?

We work with students from kindergarten through 6th grade in reading, writing, and math, and also offer supportive reading and writing instruction for struggling students in grades 7–12.

What areas are you certified to teach?

Our instructors are Florida-certified educators with qualifications in Elementary Education (K–6), Exceptional Student Education (K–12), Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum (5–9), and Reading-endorsed. We are also ESOL-endorsed, allowing us to support English language learners with confidence and care.

How long are tutoring sessions?

Our tutoring sessions are typically one hour long and are fully personalized to meet your child’s academic and behavioral needs. Session lengths can be shortened or extended as needed to best support your child’s success.

Do you offer an initial assessment or consultation?

During our initial phone call or email, we’ll discuss any areas of concern from parents or teachers and answer any questions you may have. In the first tutoring session, we assess the student’s strengths and areas of need to guide personalized instruction moving forward.

How will I be informed of my child’s progress?

Families are kept informed of their child’s progress after each session through a brief email recap outlining what was covered and how the student responded to the material.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We are an approved Direct Pay Provider for the Step Up Scholarship/PEP Scholarship. We also accept Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal, Credit or Debit Card via Square.
